Study On Quality Of Life Of Patients With Knee Osteoarthritis

ObjectiveTo lay the foundation of clinical health education,improve the quality of the whole knee osteoarthritis patients,assess the establishment of necessary systems and provide rigorous scientific information for the clinical study of prevention and treatment of knee osteoarthritis with the method of traditional Chinese and western medicine.Method80 patients with knee osteoarthritis from traumatocomium of Guangzhou university of Traditional Chinese Medicine were inquired by using the osteoarthritis of the knee specialist questionnaire integrating the SF-36 questionnaire.The data were inputed into statistical databases and analyzed by using T-test,analysis of variance,and multiple regression analysis and other methods.ResultPatients with various dimensions of quality of life scores and scores of the main factors can be summed up as:age, menopausalage,occupational habits,body mass index,past history of illness,production times,educational level,liver and kidney deficiency type,the wind cold type Bi,sputum Phlegm blood type, Damp-heat yunjie type.The body pain dimensions has a negative correlation with body mass index,occupational habits,the wind cold type Bi;Self-care ability of patients with body mass index,past medical history, menopause age,liver and kidney deficiency type was a negative correlation;Ability of household chores has a negative correlation with years since menopause,production time,age,body mass index;Daily activities in patients with a positive correlation with education,a negative correlation with years since menopause,liver and kidney deficiency type and age;Social activities and educational level of patients was positively correlated,with years since menopause,phlegm and blood stasis type was a negative correlation;Concepts of health in patients with Damp-heat yunjie type,past medical history,body mass index, years since menopause was negatively correlated;The mental state of patients with post-menopausal age,liver and kidney deficiency type,past medical history,blood stasis each junction was a negative correlation;Scale scores and liver and kidney deficiency type,years since menopause,age,body mass index was a negative correlation.The liver and kidney deficiency type mainly affects self-care ability,daily activities and mental state;Cold wind mainly affects dimension of body pain;phlegm and blood stasis type mainly affects social activities,mental state dimension; Damp-heat yunjie type mainly affects concepts of health dimensions; Different syndrome differentiation of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee affect the quality of life dimensions are not the same as the focus.Conclusion1.The quality life of patients with knee osteoarthritis are in the low level.Dimensions of its high to low for the degree of damage:concepts of health,mental state,body pain,social activities,day-to-day activities,household chores,self-care ability.2.Factors that affect the body pain were body mass index, occupational habits and cold wind-type Bi;Factors that affect the self-care ability were body mass index,past medical history,menopause age,liver and kidney deficiency type;Factors that affect the household chores were years since menopause, production time,age and body mass index;Factors that affect the day-to-day activities were years since menopause,liver and kidney deficiency,educational level and age;The impact of social factors were years since menopause,phlegm and blood stasis type and education level;Factors that affect health concepts were Damp-heat yunjie type,past medical history,body mass index and years since menopause;Factors that affect the mental state followed by years since menopause,liver and kidney deficiency type, past medical history and blood stasis Phlegm type;Factors that affect the scale scores were liver and kidney deficiency type, years since menopause,age and body mass index.3.TCM syndrome and quality of life was negatively correlated. Liver and kidney deficiency type with the highest score of quality of life,followed by the cold wind Bi type,Damp-heat yunjie type, phlegm and blood stasis Phlegm Type.4.TCM type and quality of life there are some links.Cold wind mainly affects the dimension of body pain scores;Damp-heat yunjie type mainly affects the dimension of concepts of health;The liver and kidney deficiency type mainly affects self-care ability,daily activities,mental state and the total score;Phlegm and blood stasis type affects social activities and mental state...
