ObjectiveIn recent years,the incidence trend of Sudden deafness has a gradual increase,but the medical profession on the causes of sudden deafness is no breakthrough in the understanding presume.The main factor is concerned with inner ear microcirculatory disorders,viral infections,allergy,metabolism or autonomic dysfunction.Because of the understanding of the pathogenesis is not clear,modern medicine for the treatment of sudden deafness is no effective treatment for the exact program,the current treatment is mainly to improve inner ear microcirculation,reducing blood viscosity, glucocorticoids and neurotrophic drugs.In addition,sudden deafness have a tendency to self-healing,according to foreign reports,about 50%-60%of cases of the disease within 15 days of the hearing available to varying degrees of self-healing,when the drugs were began to interfere with,is still to be debated.Studies in these years have shown that Chinese medicine treatment of sudden deafness effect significant improvement in their symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients and reduce medical costs has the advantage of potentially,worthy of further research.This study is to research the modern literature,which published in 1978-2008 in major journals on sudden deafness of Chinese medicine treatment research.Through the analysis of the current Chinese medicine treatment of sudden deafness of the status quo,to explore the existence of inadequate,to provide an evidence-based study for formulation of programs.MethodsThrough MeSH and free speech these two ways,retrieval published in 1978-2008 in major journals on sudden deafness in the modern medical treatment bibliography,reading titles and full text to the election of the literature into treatment programs for content analysis,extract relevant information, summarize the current medical treatment in the law of sudden deafness.ResultA total of 340 included in the literature,read the full text of each document in accordance with the design of the study dealt with the main classification,decoction of Chinese medicine treatment in which 92, representing 27%of articles;proprietary Chinese medicine treatment of 88 total 26%of articles;acupuncture treatment of 58,accounting for 17%of articles;a comprehensive treatment of 102,representing 30.0 percent of articles.Conclusions1.Decoction of Chinese medicine treatment:â‘ Syndromes:Sudden deafness syndrome type classification is based on xu and shi,the common type of shi zheng is Ganhuoshangyan,Qizhixueyu,Tanhuoyujie;Shenjingkuixu is more common type of xuzheng.â‘¡Prescription treatment:four basic types of prescriptions of treatment to type of Fengxiewaixi,the efficacy of the pujixiaoduyin has more worthy of clinical reference and learn from;Ganhuoshangyan,the treatment of four basic recipe,longdanxieganatang has the more reliable effect;5 prescriptions mentioned in to treatment of ganyuqizhixueyu type,Tongqiao Decoction is more suitable for the upper part of the blood stasis syndrome; The four prescriptions mentioned in to Shenjingkuixu type,are based on liuweidihuangtang as the basic side;The three prescriptions mentioned in to Tanhuoyujie type,Wendan Tang is based on Erchen Tang as the basic side,Jiawei Erchen Tang and Qingqihuatanwan would have to be further study.According to literature research,Yiqicongming Tang is conformity considered to the decoction of Chinese medicine treatment to Piweixuruo type.Prescriptions of treatment to type of Tanyuhujie,Tanzhuozhongzu,have a handful of literature report,therapeutic effect request futer study.â‘¢Chinese medicine consists of:Composition of traditional Chinese medicine,Changpu has the most requently, followed by drug Chuanxiong.2.Treatment of proprietary Chinese medicines:â‘ The single types of proprietary Chinese medicines,the effects of puerarin and Danshen is recognized,another reported in the literature of puerarin in treatment of sudden deafness is better than Danshen;but the results from the total efficiency of proprietary Chinese medicines statistics,showed that the effect of proprietary Chinese medicine has no significant difference.â‘¡Comprehensive treatment of proprietary Chinese medicines:because of having a great quantity document think that only one kind of proprietary Chinese medicines treats already may gain the fine curative effect,the proprietary Chinese medicines treats have over-treatment of suspects;Two kinds different proprietary Chinese medicines will produce a combined effect' or not,is still room for further research.3.Acupuncture treatment,â‘ From the effects reported in the literature, the variety of treatment efficacy gets the certain curative effect;â‘¡From the point mentioned in the literature to conduct statistical points of view, acupuncture point selection is Tinghui the most,followed by Yifeng,the third is to Tinggong;â‘¢Point injection point selection is up to the Yingfeng, followed by Tinggong,the third is Tinghui;Point injection of the drug there is no consensus,the highest rates of vitamin B₁₂.4.Comprehensive treatment of Chinese patent medicine combined with Western medicine is the most.Comprehensive treatment program is currently no consensus on the trend.
