Clinical Study On Treatment Of Osteoarthritis Of Knee Healing With Xibi Soup And Shuxi Power

This artical reviews of the past 10 years on the osteoarthritis of knee treating with southern Chinese herbal literature and found that experical research and clinical research were seldom and remaining on a low level that the research and abstraction of single pharmaceutical product of Chinese herbal.Then reported on the clinical observation of southern Chinese herbal for osteoarthritis of knee(type of liver and kidney deficiency,wind,cold,damp and stagnant blood pathogens blocking meridians).Objective:To observe the evaluation of Chinese herbal of southern China treating with osteoarthritis of knee(type of liver and kidney deficiency,wind,cold,damp and stagnant blood pathogens blocking meridians) the clinical efficacy and safety.Method:June 2008-February 2009 period of hospitalization and outpatient treatment of osteoarthritis of knee(type of liver and kidney deficiency,wind,cold,damp and stagnant blood pathogens blocking meridians)with a total of 60 cases.Were randomly divided into treatment and control groups,respectively,to the empirical formulas of Weiliang Chen Professor and capsules of Anti-hyperostosis and Weiling mastic of bony spur, six week course of treatment,were observed before treatment,3,6 weeks after treatment in patients with WOMAC score,arthralgia of knees caused by walking on the plain score,Liket score and L Liket score,the final effect of clinical assessment;blood,urine,feces routine examination,liver(ALT),renal(BUN, CREA),electrocardiogram.Results:3,6 weeks after treatment of two groups,arthralgia of knees caused by walking on the plain and WOMAC score all decrease,two groups of 3 weeks after treatment the scores were not significant.Comparing with the period of pretherapy was the same.Two groups of drugs had no sinificant effect after 3 weeks and had almost the same effect.After 6 weeks,arthralgia of knees caused by walking on the plain and WOMAC score showed notable sinificant between two groups and had notable sinificant comparing with 3 weeks after post-treatment.The southern Chinese Herbal group had better effect than the control group after 6 weeks.The final effect of clinical assessment had notable sinificant between two groups.The southern Chinese Herbal group had better effect than the control group after 6 weeks.Liket score and L Liket score had no significant differences.The safety of indicators electrocardiogram checks,blood,urine and feces routine examinations,ALT,BUN,CnEA showed no obvious abnormality;two groups after treatment had no significant adverse reactions.Conclusion:Empirical formulas comprise with southern Chinese herbal of Weiliang Chen Professor can effectively cure osteoarthritis of knee(type of liver and kidney deficiency,wind,cold,damp and stagnant blood pathogens blocking meridians).
