Primary Research About Chinese Medical Symptom Of Cough Variant Asthma For Children

Cough variant asthma(CVA) is one of the most common diseases in peadeatrics,since Chinese traditional medicine has predominance in treating this disease,we develop this study to survey the literatures of researches about cough variant asthma(CVA) and master the situation and dialectical criteria of CVA.Combined with clinical retrospective study of CVA,master the characters of dialectical criteria,to develop the scientific dialectical criteria of CVA in children.In this study we select information from two aspects,one is to index CNKI from 1990 to 2007 to get aimed literatures,in order to get pool data after analyzing the selected literatures and sum up the dialectical criteria of TCM.The other is to analyze clinical distribution of dialectical criteria of TCM by survey clinical patients of CVA in Jiangsu province hospital of TCM from 2007.8～2008.1,and fill viewing table,Then compared with two of them,analyze dialectical criteria of TCM,course of the disease and every clinical examination are also considered.Study the of forthcoming literatures of TCM,we conclude that most of the modern doctors trend to type CVA into:Cough due to wind and heat,Cough due to wind and cold,Liver heat and qi deficiency of lung and spleen,Qi and ying deficiency and so on.Analyzing the characters of CVA from clinical retrospective study of 50 cases of CVA of children,after aggregate analysis of the most valuable clinical index we found that the dialectical criteria of CVA should be:Cough due to wind and heat,Cough due to wind and cold,Cough due to liver heat and Cough due to lung qi deficiency.Based on the dialectical criteria of cough from documents and clinical study,CVA can be mainly divided into:Cough due to wind and heat,Cough due to wind and cold,Cough due to liver heat and Cough due to lung qi deficiency.
