Clinical Observation Of Helping Herbs In Treatment Of Migraine With Blood Stasis Syndrome Type

Objective: Studying the effect of of Xuefuzhuyu Decoction matching helping-herbs in treatment of migraine with blood stasis syndrome type .so as to ensure the therapeutic effect of clinical match of helping herbs. Methods: We selected 66 patients who were randomly divided into control group and treatment group, and observed the headache symptoms, accompany symptoms and Vsys of MLA,ACA,PCA. Results: clinical study shows the helping-herbs have a good effect on controlling the main symptoms of migraine especially during acute stage, including of headache frequency, lasting time of headache, degree of headache.etc. so helping-herbs,which can help main prescription relieving headache ,is a good assistant of the main prescription. TCD also shows exact result. However, there is no significant difference of the total effective rate between control group and treatment group, whose total effective rate are 86.67% and 90% respectively(P>0.05). Similarly,helping-herbs did not show any superiority over control group on accompany symptoms.Conclusions: The helping-herbs have a specific therapeutic effect of migraine, which mainly displays in relieving headache. The result is under our careful consideration and also gives us a reference on using helping herbs.
