The aims of this empirical research were set to understand the general symptoms, the frequencies, the rates and the causes of sub-health condition of the female teachers working at the secondary schools in Hong Kong as well as their countermeasures of life cultivation and rehabilitation of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The aims were achieved by adopting quantitative research to collect relevant information via a close-ended questionnaire, which was processed and concluded by descriptive statistics and parameter analysis.423 valid questionnaires were collected from the subjects for statistical analysis. The subjects were all female and teaching at the secondary schools distributed in the 18 communities of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. They aged 20 to 59 years old. In detail, 78 subjects were in the interval of 20 to 29 years old. 171 subjects were in the interval of 30 to 39 years old. 139 subjects were in the interval of 40 to 49 years old. 35 subjects were in the interval of 50 to 59 years old.Referring to the subjects' feedback by answering the questions in the "Self-Evaluation of Sub-Health Condition" of the questionnaire, it was concluded that all subjects had been suffering symptoms of sub-health condition in different levels of seriousness and distribution, which were varied between individuals. The research found that the daily events happened in subjects' ordinary living could cause sub-health condition by stimulating the subjects' consciousness positively or negatively. Meanwhile, the significant variances existed in the seriousness levels and distribution of sub-health symptoms being caused by individuals' different perception and physical response for the impact of the subjects' daily events. This non-linear correlation between the dependent and independent variables was further proven by such statistical methods as factor analysis and canonical correlation analysis in the research. It also elaborated the indefinite nature of the sub-health condition in terms of causes and critical properties.Furthermore, the non-linear correlated nature of the sub-health condition is hardly cured by the western medical practitioners and medicine, which are engaging methodologies in view of modern biology and chemistry, for treating the abnormal performance and development of human organisms via the linear thinking process. Recently, people are trying to cure the sub-health symptoms by adopting the theories and methods of the life cultivation and rehabilitation of Traditional Chinese Medicine, for which the epistemology and the methodology concern about the holistic function and performance of individual human body. By such holistic point of view, diagnosis and therapies are recognized to be more effective and efficient for tackling the non-liner correlated properties of the sub-health conditions. In fact, this research found the evidences that there were 76.6% of all subjects had been implementing different countermeasures of life cultivation and rehabilitation of Traditional Chinese Medicine to cure the sub-health symptoms. 78.96% of the 76.6% subjects reported that their sub-health symptoms had been released and even strengthen their physique. However, this research found that 45.63% of the 423 subjects did not ensure if their countermeasures of life cultivation and rehabilitation of Traditional Chinese Medicine could cure the sub-health problem symptoms. Indeed, 15.13% of the 423 subjects did not believe the formal countermeasures of life cultivation and rehabilitation of Traditional Chinese Medicine could cure the sub-health symptoms. The findings reflected that the normal countermeasures of life cultivation and rehabilitation of Traditional Chinese Medicine were still not popularly accepted by general public. In conclusion, this research brought up suggestions as to four scopes including the advocacy and the practice of preventive healthcare, formal life cultivation and rehabilitation of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the health management administration system for the teachers; educating the teachers with formal life cultivation and rehabilitation of Traditional Chinese Medicine by initiating systematic learning programs; establishing relevant schemes to reduce the working pressures of teachers, related governmental departments and other organizations; proposing directions and themes of future related researches.
