Objective: To study the changes of serum resistin and adiponectin levels in patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) and discuss the morbidity mechanism of OSAHS complication supersession syndrome.Methods : To select randomly 68 patients with OSAHS and 20 simple snorers with PSG in sleep detection center , the OSAHS patients was divided into mild 24 patients, moderate 13 patients and severe 31 patients group based on the apnea-hypopnea index(AHI). There is no significant distinction between each interclass and control group in years of age and sexuality , all selected people have no history of diabetes mellitus ,cardiovascular diseases and chronic respiratory disease . All selected people need to measure the height, weight, waistline and hip circumference , to calculate the body mass index (BMI)and waist-to-hipratio (WHR); to carry out multiplying channel sleep monitoring all night for 7 hours at least , analysis apnea hyponea index (AHI), the minimum O2 saturation at night and the time of SaO2<90% ; using PSG monitoring and collecting 10ml empty stomach venous blood at 6 a.m on next day early morning , examining fasting serum glucose, empty stomach insulin , blood-fat;using ELISA to measure resistin and adiponectin .Results:1. Resistin , adiponectin, WHR,BMI,HOMA-IR,TC and TG in the patients with OSAHS were higher in diversity degree (P<0.05) , HDL levels in OSAHS group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05) .2. Resistin levels in each OSAHS group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05) , severe groups were significantly higher than mild groups(P<0.05); after the time of AHI , the minimum O2 saturation at night and the time of SaO2<90% were controlled , resistin levels were still significantly correlated to HDL,adiponectin,FINS,HOMA-IR(r= -0.255,p<0.01;r=-0.186 ,p<0.05;r=0.533,p<0.001; r=0.401,p<0.001) after the control of AHI,the minimum O2 saturation at night and the time of SaO2<90% ; AHI,HOMA-IR,HDL were leaded-in the equation in the multiple stepwise regression . 3. Adiponectin levels among each group also have significantly differences (P<0.05) ; serum adiponectin levels were still significantly correlated to HDL,resistin (r=0.015 ,p<0.05;r=-0.186 ,p<0.05)after the control of AHI,the minimum O2 saturation at night and the time of SaO2<90% . AHI,the minimum O2 saturation,HDL,TC were leaded-in the equation in the multiple stepwise regression .Conclusions:1.In patients with OSAHS , metabolic disorder usually appears , including BG,BM,weight,change of insulin resistance and the abnormality of resistin and adiponectin .2. In patients with OSAHS,serum resistin levels were increased and serum adiponectin levels decreased , correlated to the aggravation of OSAHS , and participated the regulation of glycolipid metabolism abnormality in patients with OSAHS...
