Study On The Relationship Between Quality Of Life And The Family Environment Of Married Childbearing Age Women

Objective 350 married child bearing age women, who are working in institution, enterprise, hospital, school and living in countryside, were investigated by the WHOQOL-100 and FES-CV. To appraise the quality of life for married child-bearing age women and to explore the probable influencing factors on it. To study the family environmental conditions of married child-bearing age women in different stage of age, educational level, occupation and the relationship with spouse. To explore the relationship between the family environmental conditions and quality of life for married child bearing age women, to look for social factors affecting the quality of life for married child bearing age women, in order to give a reference for overall elevation of quality of life for married child bearing age women.Methods Sampled by multi-stage random sampling, 350 married child bearing age women, who are working in institution, enterprise, hospital, school and living in countryside, were investigated by the WHOQOL-100 and FES-CV. The collecting data were analyzed by t-test, analysis of variance, correlation analysis and so on.Results1. The general health and quality of life of married child-bearing age women was 14.80±2.32. It was better than that of the Chinese norm. The scores about the PHYS, the PSYCH, and IND domains were lower than the norm .But the scores about SOCIL, the ENVIR and the D0M6 were higher. The married child bearing age women with lower education level, identity of famer and satisfied spouse relationship, have higher quality of life. The quality of life of married child-bearing age women were affected significantly by factors that was the self-reported score of quality of life, educational levels, relationship with the spouse and family friction.2. The score of FES-CV in married child-bearing age woman were difference from Chinese norm. The factors about Expressiveness, Conflict, Independence, Moral -Religion Emphasis, Control were difference for their age (one-way ANOVA, P<0.05 ) . The educational level of married child-bearing age woman led Expressiveness, Active-Recreational Orientation, Moral-Religion Emphasis to significant difference. Conflict and Active-Recreational Orientation in FES-CV varied with the occupation of married child-bearing age women. The relationship of married child-bearing age woman with their spouse affect the score of Cohesion, Conflict, Achievement Orientation and Organization.3. Every domain of quality of life depended on factors of FES-CV. The quality of life of the married child bearing age women was affected by Conflict, Expressiveness, Achievement Orientation, Moral-Religion Emphasis and Active-Recreational Orientation.Conclusion1. The general status on the quality of life of married child-bearing age women was well .Their husband and family should be careful about the PHYS, the PSYCH, and IND.2. The age, educational degree, occupation and relationship with their spouse affected the quality of life of married child-bearing age woman.3. The family environmental conditions about married childbearing age women varied with their age, educational level, occupation and the relationship with spouse. The quality of life of married child bearing age woman maybe improve if the Conflict and the Control was reduced but family member need communion frequently.
