[Objective]:To investigate the effect of the grade 4 diabetes quantitative exercise prescription(prescription 4.2),a medium intensity diabetes grading exercise prescription,on type 2 diabetics,to discuss the clinical and community outreach applicability of that prescription.[Methods]:Using self- and group control methods.40 type 2 diabetics were divided into the therapy group(n=16),accepted the grade 4 diabetes quantitative exercise prescription(prescription 4.2)for 43 min per day,6 day per week;and control group(n=24),maintained the original movement habits,allowed adjustment under the guidance from researchers if necessary.Both groups were accepted the guidance of diabetes diet,and adjusted medicine dosage according to blood glucose levels.The levels of fasting blood glucose(FBG),2 hours postprandial blood glucose(2hPBG),glycosylated haemoglobin(HbA1C),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C), high density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C),blood pressure(SBP,DBP),body mass index(BMI)and drug application were observed before and after 12 weeks movement therapy. [Results]:(1)The levels of FBG,2hPBG,HbA1C,TG were decreased markedly in therapy group than before interference(P<0.05),while there were no significant differences of the level of TC,HDL-C,LDL-C,SBP,DBP,BMI (P>0.05).(2)The levels of FBG,BMI were decreased markedly(P<0.05)in control group than before observation period,while there were no significant differences of the level of 2hPBG,HbA1C,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,SBP,DBP (P>0.05).(3)There were no significant differences of the margin before and after movement treatment of all between movement therapy group and control group (P>0.05).(4)During the observation period,68.75%(11/16)patients in therapy group whose average proportion of medicine dosage adjustiment were -53.39%; and 50%(12/24)patients in control group whose average proportion of medicine dosage adjustiment were +88.89%。[Conclusion]:(1)The grade 4 diabetes quantitative exercise prescription(prescription 4.2)improved FBG,2hPBG,HbA1C,TG of type 2 diabetics.(2)During the observation period,the drug adjustment were decreased markedly in movement therapy group and increased markedly in the control group,which prompted us that the grade 4 diabetes quantitative exercise prescription(prescription 4.2) were beneficial in correctting glucose metabolism and hypertriglyceridemia of type 2 diabetics.(3)The implementation of the grading exercise prescription for the type 2 diabetes millitus did not be limited by location and equipment,and its exercise intensity and action were easy to control,especially suitable for clinical and community outreach.
