The Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is on the increase in the whole world. The ruined effect of AIDS on the individual, family, society, and even the whole world is far more serious than that of any other plague or war in human history. China is one of the countries with the fastest growing HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) seroprevalence rate, and is facing a widespread epidemic of AIDS. Now, no medicine and vaccine can eradicate AIDS. Therefore, the prevention is the only effective strategy. The young people are susceptible to HIV/AIDS. They are also the main force to prevent HIV/AIDS. So we should deliver the health education of HIV/AIDS prevention to the young. It will be significant to control the epidemic of HIV/AIDS.The paper investigated the knowledge, attitude and behavior about HIV/AIDS in 223 middle-medical students. Based on the teaching in the correlative curriculum, the peer education, the life skills education in schools, the activities after school and the community activities were used to conduct the health education of HIV/AIDS prevention. And the changes of the knowledge, attitude and behavior about HIV/AIDS were compared between before and after intervention. The results showed that: (1) The correct rates of the knowledge about HIV/AIDS are low at large. The correct rate of basic knowledge, infection and non- infection about HIV/AIDS was 26.7%, 29.6%, 64.2% respectively. Before intervention, many students did not pay much attention to the importance of the serious situation of HIV/AIDS, and they had discrimination attitude to the HIV/AIDS persons to some extent. The correct rate of non- infection about HIV/AIDS was only 10%, but the correct rate of infection was higher at 50-75%. (2) Considering the middle-medical students fact, the paper used various methods to conduct the health education of HIV/AIDS prevention. The students had gained the scientific and systemic knowledge on HIV/AIDS, and they were forming healthy life style from this education. (3) The methods used in this paper to conduct the health education of HIV/AIDS prevention were very effective. After intervention, the correct rate of basic knowledge, infection and non- infection about HIV/AIDS increased remarkably, reaching 91.6%, 97.6%, 99.0% respectively. However, in a part of students, there were the phenomena to discriminate the HIV/AIDS persons and to misapprehend to volunteer blood donation. The paper used various methods to conduct the health education of HIV/AIDS prevention among the middle-medical students. From the study, the students not only gained the scientific and systemic knowledge on HIV/AIDS, nut also got the knowledge and skill how to prevent HIV/AIDS. The methods and results in this paper will be helpful to the middle-medical school to prevent HIV/AIDS.
