Research Of The Effort Of Benefiting Vital Energy And Activating Blood Circulation On Inflammatory Mediator With Acute Ischemic Stroke Complicated By Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome

1.ObjectiveTo verify the effects of Benefiting Vital Energy and Activating Blood Circulation on patients with Acute Ischemic Stroke(AIS)complicated by systemic inflammatory response syndrome(SIRS)through method of clinical curative effect.Astragalus Injection and Xuebijing Injection are carrier of Benefiting Vital Energy and Activating Blood Circulation.2.MethodRandomized control clinical trial of "Benefiting Vital Energy and Activating Blood Circulation" on patients with 40 cases of AIS complicated by SIRS.40 patients were divided randomly,10 into Qixu Group(Administered with common therapy adding Astragalus Injection),10 into Xueyu Group (Administered with common therapy adding Xuebijing Injection),10 into Qixuxueyu Group(Administered with common therapy adding Astragalus Injection and Xuebijing Injection)and 10 into Control Group(Administered with common therapy).Period of treatment was 7 days.Though Comparing the serum Interleukin-6(IL-6),Tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),Procalcitonin(PCT), Syndrome Integral of Chinese Medicine(CM)and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)in the 4 groups,discuss the effects of Benefiting Vital Energy and Activating Blood Circulation on AIS complicated by SIRS.3.ResultThe value of IL-6,TNF-α,PCT,Syndrome Integral of Chinese Medicine(CM), NIHSS in 4 groups were abnormal,which was no difference among 4 groups (P＞0.05)before treatment.After 7days' therapy,the value of IL-6,TNF-α, PCT,Syndrome Integral of Chinese Medicine(CM)were decreased which had significant difference(P＜0.05)compared to Control Group.The value of NIHSS of Yiqi group and Qixuxueyu group were superior to Control Group, which had significant difference(P＜0.05).But there was no difference between two group.4.Conclusion4.1 The value of IL-6,TNF-αof the patients with AIS complicated by SIRS increased significantly while PCT increased slightly,which may come to the conclusion that SIRS was caused by AIS.The pathological mechanism may be Neural and Endocrine regulation were disordered by the Stress from AIS and that lead to TNF-α' s excessively releasing.TNF-αwhich was a kind of inflammatory mediator can improve the level of other inflammatory mediator like IL-6,which may cause inflammatory mediator spillover or even multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODS).After 7days' therapy of Benefiting Vital Energy and Activating Blood Circulation, the value of IL-6,TNF-α,PCT were decreased significantly.The results support that this treatment can mitigate inflammatory though decreasing the value of IL-6,TNF-α4.2 The elevation of NIHSS suggested that Benefiting Vital Energy and Activating Blood Circulation can improved the neural function which may relate to it can improve cerebral blood flow and mitigate inflammatory.
