Rhubarb can enhance the effect of activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis if it is stir-fried with wine.So rhubarb stir-fried with wine has being used in prescription by doctors in thousands of clinical practices,depending on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,with the modem technology,we have researched the rhubarb and the rhubarb stir-fried with wine at the place of activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis,the pharmacological experimentation and the finger print respectively.In the research,we adopted an integrative mode of researching the processing of traditional Chinese medicine,the theory of drug property,the chemical composition,the pharmacological action and the finger print. We have researched the effective place where the rhubarb stir-fried with wine works, and analyzed the finger print of the place.This is part of the scientific evidences for setting up Quality Control System of decoction pieces of the rhubarb stir-fried with wine。According to Pharmacopoeia of China,published in 2005,we divided a batch of rhubarb and prepared RADIX ET RHIZOMA PHEI with wine into three groups,and tested the samples respectively.The result indicates that the tested medicinal materials are eligible,according to the Pharmacopoeia of China.The study of preliminary test about the chemical composition,reveals that rhubarb and the rhubarb stir-fried with wine composes of amino acid,protein,polypeptide,glucide saponin.,phenols,tannin,organic acid,flavonoids,coumarin,anthraquinone,terpenoid,steroid,naphtha,,lipid and so on.We separated and distill different places of the rhubarb and the rhubarb stir-fried with wine through a series of solvent.They are chloroform,butaneiol,50%ethanol and water in turns.The simple process is adding in solvent 10 times than the specimen, distilling twice,1h each time,then we filtrated and concentrated the leaching liquor, so as to get solvent that we need.The animal pharmacology experiment and the pharmacodynamics index prove that efficacy could be enhanced after rhubarb is stir-fried with wine,and the place where the rhubarb stir-fried with wine works is 50%ethanol leaching liquor.Conditions about finger print:chromatogram instrument:LC-20AB high-performance liquid chromatogram instrument;chromatographic column: Krosmosil C 18(4.6mm×200mm,5μm);mobile phase:A(0.1%phospho-carbinol): B(0.1%phosphonic acid)为(82:18);flow rate:1.0ml/min;flow-sheet:35min; detective wavelength:254nm;column temperature:room temperature。This is the first time to build the HPLC finger print for the place where the rhubarb stir-fried with wine works.7 apices are made the symbol its finger print.We erect the standard HPLC finger print through reviewing the HPLC finger prints of the places where the rhubarb stir-fried with wine works from 5 different enterprises. Compared with the control article,we confirm that 3 of 7 apices are rhein,emodin,3-methylchrysazin.Calculated by the estimating software,the HPLC finger prints of 10 batches made in the same enterprise,the resemblance of which goes beyond 0.98.We have reviewed the HPLC finger prints of the places where the rhubarb stir-fried with wine works from 5 different enterprises,all of which have the common sign.They all can be regarded as the medicinal materials of the rhubarb stir-fried with wine.And the resemblance of them Roes beyond 0.91.
