The qualities of the graduates are the ultimate criterion to evaluate the education of a school. Gaining the information of graduate quality is extremely important to improve educating and its quality. The evaluation of the qualities of the graduates is an important content of the education evaluation as well as an important means to acquire the information of the qualities of the graduates , Not only can we attain an objective judgement of the education quality but also advance a reform with the feedbacks of the demerits in its teaching .The evaluation is a scientific, complex and systematic project, for which a scientific system of criterion is the key to success. The practical value of this study lies in its research on the criterion of the evaluation of the qualities of the undergraduates majored in clinic.Research content and result: to draw an over-all view of the demerits and development trend of the recent theories and practices in the medical education evaluation in our country by the study of the various documentations of the medical education both home and abroad, in the hope of laying a solid foundation for the theoretic construction of the evaluation criterion. To analysis the elements and their connotations in the evaluation of the qualities of the undergraduates, who majored in clinic, according to the requirements of the overall cultivation, essential personnel and the quality of 21century requirements for clinical quality requirements and other relevant literature graduates. To explore the criterion and basic principals for the evaluation of the undergraduates majoring in clinic and to set out a frame work of the evaluation system, under the guidance of the theories like evaluation study of the education and the study of the higher education. To revise the criterion and index covering surface, index connotation, index weight of the evaluation of the undergraduates majoring in clinic through the method of consulting the experts .Research significance: This study has established the systematic criterion of evaluating the undergraduates majoring in clinic, which accords with the overall cultivation, the view about personnel culture of 21 century and the characteristics of medical. This criterion is both directive and practical, thus laying a solid foundation for the evaluation of the quality of the medical–majored students.
