Objective: To figure out the current situation of medical quality indicators study of our country and abroad. To select out the key indicators used in our country, and compare with the international quality indicators. To provide some suggestions to hospitals in medical quality increase、hospital information system complete and so on.Methods: Through literature study, to know the history and current situation of our country medical quality indicators system, and the main indicators system of others country. We combined Delphi method and statistical analysis to selected out the high frequency used indicators in our country. Lastly, making a comparative study between the international quality indicators and key indicators of our country.Results: 1.The response rate of the Delphi survey was 100%, the experts’ positive coefficient was 100%. The authorities of first level、second level、third level indicators in the first rounds expert consultation respectively were 0.8167、0.7991、0.7994, and in the second rounds respectively were 0.7950、0.8045、0.8022. The harmonious coefficients of first level、second level、third level indicators in the first rounds expert consultation respectively were 0.154、0.285、0.211, and in the second rounds respectively were 0.379、0.570、0.355, they all had statistical significance(P<0.05). 2.The key index system was consisted of 3 first class indicators, 10 second class indicators and 46 thirdclass indicators. 3. There had 21 indicators about general hospital in IQIP, they distributed in four dimension: indicators about intensive care unit, indicators about operation, indicators about patient safety, indicators about service procedure.Conclusion: 1.The characteristics of commonly used health quality evaluation indicators in domestics mainly include: manager-orientation, misunderstanding the concept of medical service quality, didn’t use or pay attention to the indicators related with patient benefits, the indicators which has proved independent of medical quality are still in use, some indicators are not detailed enough, poor comparability of some indicators. 2.The characteristics of IQIP indicators mainly include: focus on the health service outcomes and patient interest, strong comparability of indicators, concerned about “negative events”, automatic collection of data by computers, widely used in medical institutions. 3.Defining the principle of construct a medical quality indicators system is pain mare attention to the medical result and patient feeling. And delete the indicators that proved has no relationship with medical result and patient. 4.Importing some indicators that relate with negative events or important indicators that approved by most countries. 5. Improving the comparability of indicators. Detailing some indicators, control the factors expect medical influence that affect data changes.
