Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Diabetic Retinopathy With Yiqi Ciyin Huayu Decoction

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is the main retina vascular disease wiich causes severe destruction to visual function. Recently, the study on physio-dissection, constitution-pathology, clinical therapy, prognosis, Chinese medicine pathological mechanism and disease form has been gradually further in the world and in domestic. Since the mechanism of onset of illness still hasn't been clarified completely, moreover, there is not breakthrough progress in therapy.Hence, the therapy on DR has become one of the most important topics in our nation and in global medical domain now.DR is complicated of diabetes mellitus.Its cause morbi and pathogenesis don't keep away extreme heat with yin asthenia .furthermore,Dry heat exhaust qi and Yin,pulmonany asthenia can't lead blood to circulate. Yin asthenic don't fill vessel so as to leading to blood coagulation, liver hinder blood,kidney store essence.Lacking body fluid and blood, Pupilia lose nuitration. According to its pathogenesis character.I choose these traditional Chinese medicinal herbs which supplement qi and nourish Yin. Promoting blood circulation to remove meridian obstruction and nourish liver and kidney. Which consist "tangwang mingmu Decoction". Curative effect show:Two groups can improve traditional Chinese symptom. To the sigmptom,the improvement of the treated group is significantly better than the controned group.Two groups can improve sight,but the result shows a higher effective ratio in treated group than in control group (p<0.05) ;In both groups the area of intraretinal exudation hemorrhage,retinal non-perfusion and fluorescein leakage were smsller and intragroup changes were significantly different (p<0.05), But all the changes were not significant between the groups (p>0.05) .No significant changes were observed as to the visual field loss.Conclusions:ESET can improve the conditions of the NIDDM patients with NPDR and thus is effective for the treatment of them.
