| Objective:1.To develop the'Nursing Occupational Proper Protection Assessment Questionnaire'2.Descripting nursing protection level currently and factors of implementation in Fujian provinceMethods:1. According to the review of recent years, structured interviews, Delphi consultation letter, 443 samples of reliability and validity test and assessment of necessity and feasibility of proper protection, then create the'Nursing Occupational Proper Protection Assessment Questionnaire'with better reliability and validity .2.Using the purposive stratified sampling method to survey 2,142 clinical nurses in Fujian two and three grade hospitals from June 2006 to December 2006. With a self-developed questionnaire of appropriate protection level to collect the general information of nurses in hospital with all grades,the status and factors of nursing occupatinal protection.Applicating the statistical analysis software SPSS11.5 to analyse the protection level index,constitute comparison of samples information,analysis of variance,comparing different samples significant difference with T test,correspondence analysis,the homogeneity of a number of indicators such as relevance, and so on.Results:1. Designing an'Nursing Occupational Proper Protection Assessment Questionnaire'preliminary: it includes 41 items, the average CVI index is 0.876; construct validity was tested through principal component analysis showed that it included three main factors, they can explaine the cumulative rate of 50.744%.The total scale's Cronbach coefficient is 0.9366. The Epual- length Spearman-Brow coefficient is 0.8339, the unepual-length Spearman-Brow coefficient is 0.8339,the Guttman Split-half coefficient is 0.778.2. The occupational protection level is general overall in Fujian,The one-grade protectiion, two- grade protection and three grade protection measures were weakened gradually. In one-grade protectiion :personal protection level is the best with 3.66pm, followed by hospitals protection level of 3.07pm, finally is the relevent departments of 3.03pm.In the hospitals protection: education and training in hospitals was the best with 3.51 pm, second was the hospital management protection of 3.27 pm, then was the hospital places layout of 3.08 pm, the hospital medical supplies of 2.97 pm, the hospital welfare was the worst with 2.53 pm. Investigation showed that factors were inclueded, the main influencing factors of departments in charge of public health protection level is in descending order of insufficient government investment,economic conditions,the establishment of the insurance system,lack of awareness of occupational hazards,without corresponding laws and regulations; the main influencing factors of hospital protection level is nursing shortage,leader's neglect,insurance system is not yet established,the expensive product which patients is unable to pay for,and so on. the main influencing factors of personal protective level is in descending order of manpower shortage,a tight schedule,insufficient using of protective equipment,self-protection awareness is not strong,lack of knowledge of occupational protection,and so on.Conclusions:1.The components parts of'Nursing Occupational Proper Protection Assessment Questionnaire'which is designed in this study can well representate the measurement part of the theme,the construct validity is well to reflect the questionnaire designation which based on the conceptual framework, the questionnaire has better reliability and time stability.2. The nursing occupational protection level is not optimistic overall. The main factor is the government's insufficient investment, manpower'shortage,leader's neglect,and so on. Therefore, the relevant departments need to pay more attention to the occupational protection, the government departments should increase financial input, the hospital need to prepare adequate protective equipment and solve the human resources ,then make nurses can work in a health and safe environment . |
