In the developmental history of Chinese medicine, Zhang Jingyue's ideology of Chinese Medicine has the equal status as <>. This ideology based on tonic mildness not only theoretically but also pragmatically plays a great role to the progress and perfection of the basic theory in Chinese medicine. It further improves the viewpoint that Qi is the basal mater in the world, develops the theory about the absence of yang energy, forms a distinctive life-gate theory on water and fire, and exerts positive effects on the later development of regimen. Zhang Jingyue's ideology of Chinese Medicine is interrelated with the Neo-Confucianism. The Neo-Confucianism is the most philosophic ideology in China, which combines the thoughts from the Confucian School, Taoist School and Buddhism, constructs a new philosophy with taji as the core and spirits paralleling with Li and Qi, and absorbs the high-developed scientific achievement at that time, honored as the sprout of organic naturalism in China. Zhang Jingyue's ideology of Chinese Medicine, deeply rooted in the Neo-Confucianism, makes a new annotation of <> based on these concepts. He wrote some books such as <> , which has become the model for the study of <> in later generation. Therefore, the research on the philosophic base of its development is good for the macro-scopical master of the whole development of Chinese Medicine.From the perspective of the relationship between the transformation of Chinese Medicine ideology and the formation of the Neo-Confucianism, this thesis takes the most distinctive thought of the group of tonic mildness in Zhang Jingyue's ideology of Chinese Medicine as the cutting point, and systematically summarizes the philosophic base of Zhang Jingyue's ideology through the analysis of the influence on the formation of Zhang Jingyue's ideology, exerted by the philosopher such as Zhou Dunyi, Zhang Zai, Cheng Hao&Cheng Yi, Shao Yong and Zhu Xi etc .
