Meanwhile a large number of retirement teachers leave unused, so it is practically significant to how to bring the senior teacher's role into full play.[Objectives] The main objective is to study the present lives of retirement teaching staff of yunnan university, descriptive the state of health and the condition of participation in social work and the wish demand. So as to provide the decision making for making contributions to bring the retirement teaching staff's role into full play, and to keep on improving the medicine quality of teaching.[Methods] Adopting case surveys of quantization and qualification, mainly of quantization method.[Results] The condition of physiology and the energy of the retirement teaching staff is better.
