| In recent years, more attention has been paid to the study of senility, because the population of old people is increasing rapidly in the world. Skeletal muscle aging is a disease syndrome commonly seen in the elderly, mainly to the continued degradation of human skeletal muscle function with aging and seriously impact on the qualities of lives. Some studies show that the break of the balance of production and scavenging of free radicals was considered a major factor leading to muscle aging. But exercise can influence free radicals. A further study on the influence of different form exercises on the free radicals metabolism of skeletal muscle, therefore, fitness exercise can be prescript for the elderly.Adult and aged mice were assigned for this study. The following indexes of all groups (adult control group,aged control group,aged no-load exercise group,aged load exercise and no-load and load turn exercise group) will be tested. The indexes contains MDA,SOD,CAT,GSH-Px in the skeletal muscle. In order to know the effect that age and different load intermittent exercise on free radicals metabolism system .No load intermittent exercise group is assigned to have a swimming training. (20min/day, intermittent 5minutes, 3times/day, 4day / week). Load intermittent exercise group is to have a incremental load swimming training ( the first two weeks, tail load body weight of 5% of the mice swimming for three minutes,intermittently for three minutes, 8times / day, 4day / week, then increased 0.5% of the load every two week).No-load and load turn exercise group is to have a alternative swimming training (a day like no load intermittent exercise group and the other day like load intermittent exercise group, 4day / week). Two days rest after ten weeks′training, then kill the mice. Take the tissue of gastrocnemius weighed,homogenized and centrifuged. Test the following indexes of the tissue. Tissue index contains Maleic Di aldehyde(MDA) and Superoxide dismutase(SOD),Catalase(CAT),Glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px). All the datas are analyzed by the statistics software SPSS 13.0.Conclusion:1. The weights of aged mice bodies, skeletal muscle were significantly lower than adult mice,which indicate the weights of mice bodies,skeletal muscle were significantly decreases with their ages from the adult mice .2. The level of lipid peroxidation in skeletal muscle of aged mice was significantly increased and antioxidation defense capacity was increased adaptability. Oxidative damage is important factor result to aging .3. After different–load-swimming for ten-week, the weights of gastrocnemius were significantly increased in load exercise group, indicting this exercise intensity can delay the declining of the mass of the skeletal muscle; the weights of gastrocnemius were no-increased in no-load and alternating movement groups, indicting these exercise intensities cannot delay the declining of the mass of the skeletal muscle. At the same time, its indicate the effects of different loads exercises on the same age group mice′s skeletal muscle masses were different .4. After different–load-swimming for ten-week , the effects of different loads exercises on skeletal muscle free radical metabolism of aging mice are different. The antioxidant capacity of skeletal muscle of the alternating movement groups was much significantly increased, indicate that this exercise intensity can postpone skeletal muscle aging. the antioxidant capacity of skeletal muscle of no load exercise groups was significantly increased, indicate that this exercise intensity can postpone skeletal muscle aging too; the antioxidant capacity is no change of load exercise groups . At the same time, its indicate the effects of different loads exercises on the same age group mice′s skeletal muscle free radical metabolism were different . |
