ObjectiveWork-related stress influences psychology and behavior of workers. It isreported that negative responses to job stress may affect either the work unit of workers or body and mental health of the workers .There are 1.29 million nurses in our nation at present. Nurses work strenuous but their salary and social position is poor, so nursing become a fragile segment in medical treatment. Nurses worked in military hospital are special group. This group composed of nurses who joined the army and nurses who employed the military hospital temporarily. The group provides medical service to officers and soldiers.However, the research on work-related stress and its psychosocial factors for nurses worked in military hospital was less in our country. The purpose of the study was to understand the state of work-related stress of nurses and the impact of work locus of control, general self-efficacy, purpose of life ,social support,dysfunctional attitude on it, thus to provide theoretical and practical basis for army officials who formulate a policy.Subjects and MethodsBy convenient sampling method, 400 nurses worked at Guangzhou militaryhospital were investigated using questionnaires.
