Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate glycometabolic disorder in patients with Graves Disease (GD).Methods: The 75g oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT), insulin releasing test were underwent in 34 patients with GD, 12 age and sex matched healthy volunteers as control group. Patients with impaired glucose tolerance or diabetes mellitus(DM) as GDⅠgroup, with normal glucose tolerance as GDⅡgroup. Free triodothyronine(FT3), free thyroxine(FT4), thyroid stimulating, anti-microsomal antibody(TM-Ab), thyrotropin receptor antibody(TRAb), glutamic acid decarboxylase autoantibody(GAD-Ab), insulin autoantibody(IAA), body mass index(BMI), insulin sensitive index(ISI),homeostasis model assessment insulin resistance index(Homa-IR), Homeostasis model assessmentβcell index ( HBCI ), homeostasis model assessment insulin secrete index(Homa-IS)were measured. The serum level of FT3,FT4,TSH,insulin were determined with chemiluminescent immuoassay, for the TM-Ab,TG-Ab,GAD-Ab,IAA with radioimmuoassay(RIA), for TRAb with radioreceptor assay(RRA), for the glucose with glucose oxidase method. Results: Compared with the control, the level of post-prandial 60minute blood glucose in GD group is the peak value during the OGTT as the control ,but each of the level of post-prandial blood glucoses is higher(9.17±3.98 vs 6.41±2.17,8.07±4.01 vs 5.05±0.89 ,5.23±1.44 vs 3.56±0.89 mmol/L,P<0.05), fasting blood glucose is lower(4.15 vs 4.66 mmol/L,P<0.05); Compared with the GDⅡgroup, the couse of the diseases of GDⅠgroup was longer(31.62±29.66 vs 17.43±13.83 months ,P<0.05),more patients have hyperthyroidism family history(38.46 vs 28.57%P<0.05), the level of thyroid hormone was higher than...
