There are about 7 specises of Dysosma in the world, which are special genus in china.Open field survey we found 4 species of Dysosma in Guizhou, Dysosma versipellis (Hance) M. Cheng ex Ying, D.majorensis (Gagnep.) Ying, D.difformis (Hemsl. et Wils.) T. H. Wang ex Ying, D.veitchii (Hemsl.et Wils.) Fu ex Ying in Guizhou. The Dysosma versipellis distribution was the most widest, sequently were D.majorensis, D.difformis, the D.veitchii distribution was the most narrow one. The investigation shows that the Dysosma of contain had been contected with the distribution. This thesis deal with relatively systematic taxonomic studies on 4 species of the Dysosma in Guizhou, including survey on the document, make a natural resources investigation and morphology .At the same time, the contents of podophyllotoxin, total lignans, quercetin, kaempferol and total flavonoids of above mentioned Dysosma herbs from different species, different medicinal parts and different areas were determinded. The axonomic researches on the Dysosma were made through specimens identification and open field survey. The key of their botanical morphology was provided. We found the contents of quercetin, kaempferol and total flavonoids were determined by mean of HPLC and UVin Dysosma for the first time. The results show that the quercetin of the highest contention in D.majorensis in Longli, the kaempferol and total flavonoids of the highest contention in D.veitchii in Hezhang. The contents of podophyllotoxin and total lignans were determined by means of HPLC and UV. The results showed that the contents of them different species, different medicinal parts and different areas of Dysosma have different, the contents of D.versipellis achieve the highest level in Shibing.
