The journal resources database developed by myself is used to analyze the data which collects by hand in medical journal's copyright page in China, and analyze the medical journals information which comes from Chinese websites. At the end, the results are showed by table and table. It will help people get the useful information about the present distribution of the medical journals and the trend of medical journals published in the Internet.Method:1. Apply SQL Server2000 to exploitation of the analysis database of journal resources.2. Use Dreamweaver MX to design data collecting platform.3. Collect the relative data by hand from the copyright page of medical journal published in China.4. Use data collecting software to collect the relative data which come from the Chinese websites searched by Google .5. Lots of national journals are the core of medical journals and quality is good. There are more new medical journals every year after 1978.From the quantity of URL which published by medical in the copyright page, 40 percent of all the medical journals have their websites. 52.86 percent of medical journals published in the HUANAN area have their websites, 66.1 percent of medical journals published by surgery and 30.60 percent of medical journals published by college have their websites.In the Chinese medical websites, there are more websites increaseing every year and little websites providing ads or having English websites. A majority of websites provide introduction, free content and abstract. A little websites have free fulltext.Most of the websites publishing the information of Chinese medical journals provide the content and the abstract of medical journal. It can help to save time and money becouse of some websites providing the free fulltext.From the contrast of three medical database we can see that every database has its excellency, so we must use all the database to search article and do not depend on one database.
