Affection Of Acupuncture To The Serum Levels Of IgE,EOS And HA In Chronic Urticaria Patients

Objective: In recent years, the study about the pathogenesis of chronic urticaria was made great progress, some studies indicated that the level of HA,ECP and IgE could reflect the disease activity and response to treatment. The incidence rate of chronic urticaria is high, and drug treatment is effective but easy to relapse. Acupuncture is super to drug treatment for its persistent effect and little side effect, however its mechanism is unclear.We treated chronic urticaria patients with acupuncture, having observed the effect and measured the serum levels of HA,ECP and IgE before and after treatment. Our purpose is to evaluate the effect of acupuncture objectively and accurately, at the same time observe the affection of acupuncture to the serum levels of HA,ECP and IgE, further to research the mechanism of acupuncture, thereby provide evidence to clinic therapy for chronic urticaria.Materials and methods: (1) The therapeutic group: 30 patients with chronic urticaria were collected from the dermatology hospital in Dalian from 2005.10 to 2006.4. All patients were classic chronic urticaria, excluded SLE, pemphigus, dermtomyositis, autoimmune diseases and other allergy diseases. Any antihistamine, immunosupressant, corticosteroidsdrugs affected immune function had not used in recent 2 months. (2) The control group (n=30) : simple Loratadine , 10㎎ qnpo,. We recorded the score of clinic symptom and measured the levels of HA,ECP and IgE before and after treatment, And then ,the two groups' therapeutic effects were compared based on their change.
