| Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) is standard based, it defines a technical framework for the implementation of established messaging standards to improve the workflow integration among the medical devices and information systems, and it also provides instructions to the seamless integration of heterogeneous heathcare environment. It is very important to the hospital information system construction. In order to have the capabilities defined by the IHE profiles, the healthcare information systems need to reconstruct or upgrade the workflows and functional transations. Scholars in and abroad, suggest different ways to the implementation of IHE, but mostly from a point of view of constructing a new system. This dissertation based on how to upgrade existing system to accord with IHE, improves its communication capability.Image workstation, an important part of PACS, is representative of whole hospital information systems, so the dissertation studies medical image workstation IW2000 as example. The dissertation research on the realization of IHE implementation for existing systems, including:Research and confirm the existing system's actor in IHE.Research on theintegration profiles related to the actor, further more, the transactions related to the profiles. The dissertation carefully analyses this method. On the basis of preparative analyzing, we consider the image workstation as Image Display Actor, and set the necessary profiles as Key Image Note(KIN) and Consistent Presentation of Images(CPI).According the speciality of existing system, we make comprehensive design and take an easy and patulous method to construct KIN and CPI models. In the end, this dissertation points out, we could extent this method to other system, and finally we could realize the IHE integration of whole system. This dissertation put importance on how to design a method. From the procedure of starting to design to using it in a existing system, it can prove, the methods we provide is easy, extendable. Furthermore, it is based on the relationship and development between IHE elements, and the exmple we take is typical, so the method is general extendable. We could implement this to other information systems, it also provide a guidance to whole system upgrade. |
