The design -Monitor System of ECG based on USB- was expounded based on the two factors: one, the taking place of cardiac disease is random and dangerous, so valetudinarians have to take care of their harts chronically, and need doctors' help periodically or freely. Therefore, it's critical to investigate and produce more effectual ECG monitor equipments; two, the technology of USB (Universal Serial Bus) is more and more fledged, and it has outstanding advantages, such as PNP, which is convenient to users, and the interface is small, which is facile to portable appliance, so it has more and more wide use, and many interfaces will be replaced by it.The system is made up two parts: ECG collection and ECG transmission by USB.From the aspect of ECG collection, main work is the design of hardware circuit. It includes two parts: before A/D, analog signals' disposal-amplification and filter of ECG, and after A/D, digital signals' disposal-ECG caching.From the aspect of ECG transmission based on USB, what we have to do is the collaborative work of USB device and host. We make the emphasis on the design of USB interface circuit, programming of MCU and USB driver. We also make a simple introduction on the programming of application.In order to have a better comprehension to our system, this paper introduces some basic knowledge about USB transmission.
