This article is focus on a kind of long-distance wireless physiological monitor and positioning system: Personal Status Monitor System.This system includes remote terminals and centre monitor station.It can monitor the status of remote person,alarm if exceed threshold,and tell the positon of person. The whole system include three parts: (1) spread spectrum communication, (2) positioning system , (3) physiological monitor. Spread spectrum communication has a series of merits that other communication method does not have, and is especially suitable for military communication. A spread spectrum chip set is adopted to inplement 1 kilometer distance wireless data transfer.The Global Positioning System is used for positioning.GPS information receive under DOS environment, WINDOWS抯 environment and MCU condition is implemented. Physiological monitor include heartrate and body temperature.Heartrate is picked up from ECG, and the circuit is optimized to reduce power consume.Two kinds of methods are experimented for body temperature monitoring RC oscillate and temperature sensing crystal. Precisions of both method is discussed. Besides the research of each part, a integrated system is accomplished for research. The terminal end include module of heartrate and body temperature monitoring, GPS receive and spread spectrum communication.The centre monitor station include spread spectrum communication module and a LCD display.The develope way of future system is also discussed.
