The Study Of Life Quality For Postmenopausal Osteoporosis

objective:To lay the foundation of clinic health education and improve the quality of life of the whole postmenopausal osteoporosis patients, we inquire the quality of life of postmenopausal osteoporosis patients , analyze the major influencing factors and study on the distribution of different syndrome and the correlation between syndrome and its quality of life . Methode:82 postmenopausal osteoporosis patients from traumatocomium of the Guangzhou University of Trantional Chinese Medicine were inquired by using the osteoporosis questionnaire integrating the QUALEFFO-41 questionnaire . the data were inputed in SPSS11. 5 and analyzed by using T-test, variance analysis and multivariant stepwise regression. Results:In this research, each patient has been given tests on Lumbar 2-4 lateral position bone densety, L₂ bone density (0.604 ± 0. 110) ; L₃ bone density (0.603 ±0. 112) ; L₄ bone density (0.664 ± 0. 135) ;The total bone density of the lumbar vertebrae is (0. 614 + 0. 106) ;T score is(-2. 322 ± 0. 961) ;Z score is (-0.613 ± 0. 836).In this survey, quality of life of osteoporosis patients get a total score of (70. 328+ 14. 130). The score of each dimension of quality of life as fo] lows: pain (62.195 + 26.633), self-care ability(83. 993 ± 16. 289), domestic work (83.536 ± 19.868), routine activity (82.012 ± 16. 006), social intercourse (68. 022 + 25. 103), health value (51. 219±19. 205), mental condition (59.214 ± 17.349).The major factors that affect the score of the patients'quality of life are age, time limit of menopause, body mass index, milk intaking, past history of illness, education level, fracture or not (At the investigation time point) ,abort frequency. body mass index, milk intaking and education level...
