Objective: To investigate the knowledge, attitude, behavior requirement and problem of cardiovascular diseases prevention and healthy life style in middle school students. The study aimed to get the appropriate intervention methods and suitable intervention contents.Method: This study was conducted at middle school in Taiyuan City, Shanxi province, China. The subject including of 262 students in grade 8 and grade 10 was sampled by stratified cluster sampling. The methods consisted of questionnaires and intervention. After the intervention, repeat measure. Data analyses were performed through Epidata 2.0 and Spss 11.5 software.Results: 1.The evaluation of requirements of cardiovascular diseases' prevention and healthy life style: The results of base-line study indicated that middle school students were poor in knowledge of cardiovascular diseases prevention; there were a few problems happened in their attitude and behavior. The score of knowledges attitude and behavior is higher in grade 8 than grade 10. 2.Cardiovascular diseases early prevention and health life style education intervention experiment: The mean score of knowledge, attitude and behavior had been significantly improved in intervention group. Compared with normal control group, the score of knowledge is higher in intervention group(P<0.05).Conclusion: l.The middle school students had the requirements of health life style and health instruction about cardiovascular disease prevention. 2.The results demonstrated that the intervention methods of study were appropriated. Based on the research results, a way for health education of cardiovascular diseases' prevention and health life style in middle school has been set up,...
