Objective: It has been proved that the obesity is a kind of diease about the overbalance of the ingestion and energy's metabolism caused by some special biochemistry factors, Some acupunctural experiments have certified that the channel system of the needled patients can produce some specially conductive signals which have comprehensive effects on all the organization's systems, specially the neuroendocrine system. According the merdian theory, we designed the experiment to find the the effect of EA stimulus on the obese rats' leptin level and other relevant factors and approached it's mechanism, which can provide some theoretical evidence for the clinical treatment. Methods: We use the way of injecting the 15% MSG isotonic Na chloride solution into the rat's neck subcutaneouly to duplicate the obese rat model, and then dividing the obese rats into model group, electroacaupuncture group and SHC group at random, every group has 20 rats, 20 normal rats are regarded as the normal group. During the experiment, EA stimulus was gived to the EA group rats by the acupoints of "HouSanLi", "ZhongWan", "SanYinJiao", "GuanYuan", et al. The process was 10 minutes, once every day. SHC group rats choose intragastric administration treating using SHC once everyday. The rats of the normal group, model group and SHC group were given the same fixture as the EA group once a day. In addition, no intervention was given. After 28 days, measuring all the rats' weight, length, and calculating the Lee's index. The other day after the experiment, killing all the rats, collecting blood, taking fatty tissue and hypothalamus. Putting the weighted fatty tissue into 10% formaldehyde solution, the paraffin wax package covers up, then making the organization cuts into slices, acting HE dying and observating the dimention and the number of the adipose cell; The brain tissue was rinsed by isotonic Na chloride solution, and then dividing the hypothalamus, making it into homogenate. Using the radio immunoassay to measure the leptin and NPY level of the hypothalamus; Using the semiautomatic biochemistric instru- ment to metry the content of HDL-C, LDL-C, CHO and TG; Observing the content of Insulin, Glucose, T3, T4, Leptin and NPY in serum using radioimmunity examination. To analyz all the data and question the effects and the pathological mechanism of EA stimulus on the obese rats in the view of internal secretion .Result: Effect of EA on obese rats' weight and Lee's index1.1 Effect of EA on obese rats' weight After the intervention of EA and SHC, the EA group (190.85±31.62) and SHC group(210.80±33.71) rats' weight was obviously lower than that of the model group(254.91±51.93)(P<0.05 or P<0.01), but no difference emerged between the two groups(P>.05).1.2 Effect of EA stimulus on obese rats' Lee's index The Lee's index of the model group(354.99±11.66) rats was obviously higher than that of the normal group(310.08±7.62)(P<0.05). After the intervention, that of the EA group (307.09±7.29) was obviously lower than that of the model group(P<0.01), the SHC group also decreased(P<0.05), but effect of the EA group was better than that of the SHC group (P<0.05).Effect of EA on obese rats' lipo-metabolism2.1 Effect of EA on obese rats' CHO amd TGThe model group rats' CHO(3.02±0.34) and TG(2.31±0.27) in serum obviously increased compared with the normal group(1.45±0.24, 0.42±0.09)(P<0.01); After the intervention, compared with the model group, that of the EA group(2.22±0.20, 0.91±0.13)(P<0.05) and the SHC group(2.30±0.26, 1.58±0.27) is obviously lower(P<0.01); And the EA group was superior to SHC group(P<0.01).2.2 Effect of EA on obese rats' HDL-C in serumHDL-C of the model group(1.62±0.32) was lower than that of the normal group(2.14±0.28)(P<0.01); After the intervention, The EA group(2.04±0.24) and SHC group(2.20±0.39) rats' HDL-C in serum was higher than that of the model group(P<0.01), and no difference between the two groups(P>.05). 2.3 Effect of EA on obese rats'...
