Clinical And Experimental Study On Treating The Dizziness Caused By Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency With Bu Shen Ding Xuan Tang

Objective: To investigate the effect of Bu Shen Ding Xuan Tang on the dizziness due to vertebrobasilar insufficiency (VBI), and to study the effective mechanism. Method: 90(ninty) standard clinical cases are divided into two random groups and treated respectively. Result: It is shown that the obviously effective rate in the treated group is 74%, the totally effective rate 94%; and in the controlled group the obviously effective rate is 52.5%. The total effective rate 72.5%, There is significant difference between them through statistical management (P<0.05). The experimental study indicates that Bu Shen Ding Xuan Tang may improve hemorheologic markers, regulate blood lipids,reduce TXB2 and TNF in plasma, increase 6-Keto-PGFla, and raise brain blood flow. Conclusion: Bu Shen Ding Xuan Tang can reduce blood viscidity, regulate blood flow condition, reduce blood lipids, improve microcirculation, and raise brain blood flow, which proves the mechanism and effectiveness on the dizziness due to VBI, initially.
