| Objective: To observe the effect of ShuGanAnYu Decoction (SGAYD) in treating premenstrual syndrome and to explore its mechanism. Methods: 60 patients were divided into two groups at random: the treatment group( 30 cases, treated with SGAYD) and the control group(30 cases, treated with XiaoYao granule).Before and after treatment, the clinical symptoms, physical sign, the development of endocrine, immunity, and vegetabale nerve system were observed. Results: The totle effective rate of the treatment group was 90.00%, while that of the control group was 66.67%.The difference between the two groups was significant(P<0.05 ). SGAY Decoction is effective to improve the symptom, and rectify the immunity and neuroendocrine dysfunction. Conclusion: SGAYD is an effective recipe in treating of the liver-qi invasion of premenstrual syndrome. The effect may be achieved through regulating neuroendocrine system and rectifying the immunity dysfunction. |
