Clinical Investigation On Cervical Spaine Ailment(CSA) Treated By Acupoints Of Cervical "Jia Ji"Points

ObjectiveCervical Spaine Aliment (CSA) is a common disease based on cervical spaine disks protrusion and with the clinical manifestation of headche,dizziness,pain and stiffness in nuchae, upper limb pain and numbness,cataplexy etc. As the progress and development of modern society,and the changing of life pattern,the incidence rate of CSA has increased in recent years.Besides,the age of onset of this illness has been yonger than before. CSA has become one of serve diseases which threatens people with health and living quality. Therefore,more study on CSA and to find the effective way of treatment are very meaningful. Based on my tutor's long-term clinical practice ,modern research and systematic review of literature , we adopted therapeutic method of needling cervical "JiaJi"points accompanined with other points according to different symptoms and signs. Its purpose is to testify the treatment effect of CSA done by needling cervical "JiaJi" points, and research the physio-mechanisms of effect of "Jing jia ji" points therapeutics using the Transcranial Doppler (TCD), furthermore to discuss the effective assessment indexes of traditional Chinese madicine in treating CSA.Methods1. There are 80 cases of CSA was treated in this trail ,which were randomly divided into 2 groups: needling group and control group .each group 40 cases by using standardized diagnosis and strict inclusion and exclusion criteria.and a course included 15 treatments.2. Just before the commencement and after the completion of a course of treatment, 18 cases selected which in needling groups was checked with TCD .ResultsK The result manifests that in needling group healed 32 cases, effects 15 cases, inefficiency Scases. The total effective rate was 94%. and healed 2 cases , effects 12 cases, inefficiency 16 cases, the total effective rate was 46.7% in control group. There is a significant difference between the two groups(p<0.01)2. Compare with before and after treating in needling group, there are statistic significant in the blood supply of vertebral artery (VA) and basilar artery (BA) (p<0.05)ConclusionThe acupuncture method of needling cervical "JiaJi"points on the CSA can efficiently improve the CSAs signs. Improve the blood flooding station of vertebrobasilar. This acupuncture method has better improving effect on the CSA.
