Clinical Research On Preventing DVT After Artificial Hip Replacement With Combination Of TCM And Western Medicine

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of preventing DVT after artificial hip replacement with combination of low molecular weight heparin(LMWH) and HuoXueFuYuan Tang and explore its mechanism. Method: All 112 cases were collected from orthopaedic department of Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of TCM, and were randomly divided into treated(52 cases) and controlled(60 cases) group. LMWH and HuoXueFuYuan Tang were used in the treated group, and the controlled grouping were prevented only with LMWH . The difference on marker of hemorheology, APTT, PT and max swelling rate of affected extremity between the two groups were observed. Result: The treatment with combination of LMWH and HuoXueFuYuan Tang not only could decrease incidence of DVT after artificial hip replacement(the treated group:3.85%, the controlled group:8.33%) . But also could ameliorate the hypercoagulable state of blood, delay the APTT and PT, relieve the clinical symptoms and sign. Conclusion: Combination of LMWH and HuoXueFuYuan Tang can effectively prevent DVT after artificial hip replacement.
