Study on the Effect and Mechanism of BSDW on the Model of Allergic RhinitisAllergic rhinitis (AR) has high incidence, it is not one of the most serious diseases that threaten the human beings, but it changes the living of patients and influences people's studing and working. It is the urgent duty for people to develop the effective drugs to cure the disease.BSDW an experiment prescription used for allergic rhinitis, it is made up of Radix Seutellariae, Herba Sehizonepetae and Herba Asari etc. In this paper, the author investigated the effect of BSDW on the model of allergic rhinitis in guinea pigs and rats; its effect on the model of allergic symptoms by histamine in. guinea pigs. Besides these, the author analyzed the mechanism of the effect of BSDW. All these research may afford the reliable experimental evidence for the therapy of BSDW on allergic rhinitis.1 Effect of BSDW on the model of allergic rhinitis in guinea pigs.Using the model of allergic rhinitis in guinea pigs caused by 10%TDI, we observed the the effect of BSDW on physiological and pathological symptoms of allergic rhinitis in guinea pigs, the effect of the levels of serum IgE and nasal histamine. The results showed that: BSDW could significantly relieve the physiological and pathological symptoms, reduce the levels of serum IgE and nasal histamine of allergic rhinitis in guinea pigs.2 Effect of BSDW on the model of allergic symptoms by histamine in guinea pigs.The effect of BSDW on the model of shock by histamine in guinea pigs was observed. The results showed that BSDW significantly prolonged the occurent time of gasping, clampsia and death caused by shock, reduced the times of gasping on the model of allergic symptoms in guinea pigs by histamine.3 Effect of BSDW on the model of allergic rhinitis in rats.According to some data, the author built the model of allergic rhinitis in rats. By using the model, the the effect of BSDW on physiological and pathological symptoms of allergic rhinitis in guinea pigs, the effect of the levels of serum IgE and nasal histamine were observed. The results showed that: BSDW could significantly relieve the physiological and pathological symptoms, reduced the levels of serum histamine and nasal histamine of allergic rhinitis in guinea pigs.4 Effect of BSDW on T lymphocytes, IL-4, IL-12 and modulation of IgE on the model of allergic rhinitis in guinea pigs.We used APAAP,RIA,ELISA to observe the level of T lymphocytes(CD4,CD8),TIgE,IL-12 and IL-4 on the model of allergic rhinitis in guinea pigs. It suggests that the effect is probably related to decreasing the level of TIgE in serum, increasing the positive percents of CD4 and the percents of CD4/CD8, reducing the concentration of IL-4 and increaseing the level of IL-12 in serum. |
