| objectiveObserve the therapeutic effects of herbal compound on allergic rhinitismodel in rats, and from traditional Chinese medicine on the Th1/Th2cytokinenetwork effects to discuss the immunological mechanism of traditional Chinesemedicine treatment of allergic rhinitis.Materials and methodsSPF SD rats were randomly divided into six groups: blank control group (groupA), model control group (group B), traditional Chinese medicine high dose group(group C), Chinese medicine dose group (group D) Chinese medicine low dose (groupE), Xanthium rhinitis capsule group (F). In addition to the group A, the remainingrats with ovalbumin sensitization method to copy the allergic rhinitis model,and given a different drug intervention, continuous administration for11daysfrom the date of ovalbumin excited. At the end of the experiment, the observationof the rats sneezing frequency and the number of scratching the nose; lightmicroscope to observe the pathological changes of the rat nasal Ministry; byELISA in serum IL-4, IL-6, IFN-γ content were detected. Each set of data forstatistical analysis.ResultsCompared with the control group, model control group, traditional Chinesemedicine, in the low dose group, as well as sneezing the Xanthium rhinitis capsulerats and the number of scratching the nose were significantly increased (p <0.01),statistically significant. Compared with model group, Chinese medicine,low-dose and Xanthium rhinitis capsule rats, sneezing and scratching the nosethe number decreased significantly (p <0.01).Change in inflammation-based pathology results showed that the model controlgroup rat nasal pathology visible cilia lodging, adhesion even to fall off, change, and the administration of each group showed significant improvement.With the control group, the remaining five groups of rats in serum IL-4,IL-6levels were significantly increased (p <0.01) upregulation. Compared withthe control group, the remaining five serum IFN-γ in significantly lower (p<0.01) downregulated; compared with the model group, the treatment groups, serumIL-4, IL-6levels were significantly reduced (p <0.01) downregulation. With themodel group, Chinese medicine, the middle dose group and Xanthium rhinitiscapsule serum IFN-γ content was increased (p <0.05), traditional Chinesemedicine in rats with low-dose group did not change significantly (p>0.05).Conclusion:1.The efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine for allergic rhinitissignificantly, can significantly improve the allergic rhinitis model in ratsrunny nose, scratching nose and sneezing and other symptoms.2.Traditional Chinese medicine can effectively reduce the inflammation ofthe nasal Ministry of allergic rhinitis model in rats.3.The three traditional Chinese medicine can significantly increase theexpressions of IFN-γ in allergic rhinitis model in rat serum, but significantlyinhibited IL-4, IL-6expression in order to correct the imbalance of TH1/TH2cytokine network.4.Correct the imbalance TH1/TH2cytokine network is likely to be one ofthe immunological mechanism of the good efficacy of traditional Chinese medicinefor allergic rhinitis. |
