Experimental Research Of Combination Of Astragalus Root, Siberian Solomonseal Rhizome And Coptis Root On Lowering Blood Sugar

Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine theory and contemporary pharmacological research results, a study is made on the combination of Astragalus root, Siberian solomonseal Rhezome and Coptis Root. Conclusion here is that invigorating Qi, replenishing Yin and reducing Heat is the basic method which might treat diabetes mellitus, and the combination is the concrete representative of the method. In the study, the effects of this combination on the IS, BS, TC, TG, MDA, SOD are observed. The results show the combination on this study may obviously influence the above indexes.
