Observation on the Infrared Radiant Track Along Meridians over the Human Body Surface Initiated by HeatingMajor: Integrated Traditional Chinese And Western Medicine Postgraduate: Ye Lei Tutors: Prof. Hu Xianglong Prof. Wu BaohuaABSTRACTBased on the technique of infrared image formation, we had successfully displayed the meridian courses over the human body surface. In order to clarify the factors caused the phenomenon, forty-five healthy volunteers were observed: thirty-six for gall bladder meridian and others for Ren meridian and lung meridian. The infrared radiant track was recorded by an apparatus manufactured by NEC san-ei instruments Ltd. The results are as follows:1. Increasing the meridian line temperature the infrared radiant track along meridians spread more easily and quickly.2.During heating the control points, the changing of temperature spread to the surrounded area without definite direction.3. Record the whole process of evoking the IRRTM by video.The results suggest that IRRTM is really a biological phenomenon and has its own mechanism. More intensive energy metabolism in the relative tissues along meridian course may be an important factor resulted in its formation.
