In this paper, the cutting propagation technique and rooting mechanism of of Osmathus fragrans'Boyejingui'were studied, the main results are as follows:(1)The experiment using the cuttings of Osmathus fragrans'Boyejingui'indicated that the rooting characters of cuttings was significantly influenced by exogenous hormone,concentration The best root-promoting agent was NAA, ABT, IAA followed,and KMNO4 was the poorest. The best treatmentconcentration was changed with exogenous hormone. The affect on the rooting characters of cuttings were differences among the different exogenous hormone.The optimal rooting mediums were NAA×500ppm, ABT×500ppm, ABT×300ppm.(2)The difference of the correlation on nutrients. be related to physiological activities within leaves and bark. The relative analysis indicated that the rooting rate had a significantly postive correlation with soluble sugar in leaves,soluble protein.,amylum in bark。Compared with CK, the content of soluble sugar,soluble protein.namylum of cuttings which were treated by NAA have no significant difference . while the content of. Nitrogen in bark ascended The content of soluble sugar,amylum. C/N nitrogen had a decreasing trend in the induction period of adventitious and the increasing trend in the expression period. But The content of soluble protein in bark had a ascended and maintain larter. The content of amylum in bark and soluble sugar in leaves had a closer relationship with rooting(3)The changes of Endogenous phytohormone in bark is different form Those changes in leaves. The content of endogenous hormones in bark had a closer relationship with rooting than those in leaves.Compared with CK,the content of IAA,ZR,GA of cuttings which were treated by NAA declined,but the content of GA.ascended. The relative analysis indicated that the rooting rate had a significantly negative correlation with ABA, and ZR, IAA, GA followed. The higher content of IAA ZR,and GA at prophase,and lower content ofABA in bark of cutting at anaphase were beneficial to callusing and rooting.during the shape of rooting anlage.The content of ABA in bark could be the primary factors for the rooting rate.It is not scientific that Thevalue of IAA/ABA could be a judgment standard for rooting ability of cuttings.(4)The experiment of the Relationshipsb Between extrogenous phytohormone and rooting mechanism indicated that extrogenous phytohormone affected firstly rooting rate through lower the content of ABA, increase the content of GA, secondly With other hormones, effectively adjust rooting mechanism. Exogenous phytohormone indirectly affect the content and. variation of nutrients.
