Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Psoriasis Vulgaris (Xuegan Syndrome) With Liangxuexuefeng Combined With Methotrexate

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect and evaluate the therapy of LIANG XUE XIAO FENG SAN with methotrexate treating psoriasis (Blood Heat).Methods1. TO meet the psoriasis (Blood Heat) for the diagnosis cases 63 patients with clinical case random points treatment group (30 cases) and the control group (30 cases), The patients of two groups in the gender, age, duration, weight, and degree of serious condition no obvious difference with comparability(p>0.05).2. The treatment group give the LIANG XUE XIAO FENG SAN soup of oral traditional chinese medicine, companied with methotrexate piece, folic acid piece,; The control group give the methotrexate piece, folic acid piece. A period of treatment for 2 weeks, with 4 courses of treatment. Observe the improvement of symptoms and signs of both groups of patients for PASI score and Pruritus score after treatment.ResultsThe total effective rate of the treatment group is 90%, that the control group is 73%. The effective rate of treatment group is better than the control group (P<0.05)。 The PASI score of after treatment is less than before treatment of same group(P<0.001), that the after treatment PASI score of the treatment group is less than the control group (P<0.05). The Pruritus score of after treatment is less than before treatment of same group (P<0.01), that the after treatment Pruritus score of the treatment group is less than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion1. LIANG XUE XIAO FENG SAN soup with methotrexate can reduce the moderate and excessie psoriasis (Blood Heat) patients’ PASI score and Pruritus score.2. The method of psoriasis treatment can reduce the side effects caused by MTX.
