Clinical Analysis On The Regularity And Safety Of Bupleurum Combined Use In Treating Malignant Tumor

Purpose:Analysis the medication rule and safety of the clinical application of using Bupleurum Compounds to treat malignant tumor in Oncology Department in affiliated hospitals of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Method:By adopting the method of studying on medical records, analyze the relation between selected patients’ usage of Bupleurum Compounds and their physical condition(PS, five points method), syndrome types, and compatibility of medicines, and collect statistics of the occurrence of adverse events because of using Bupleurum Compounds and patients’ hepatorenal function before and after taking the medicine. The result of patients’ hepatorenal function before and after taking the medicine is pressed by mean standard deviation( ±s),with paired T test.There is statistical significance that the study result is P<0.05.Results: 1.109 patients’ dosage of Bupleurum Compounds is 6-15 g. 2.The patients of PS0-1points are in the majority, which account for 63.56%,PS2 points account for 33.03%.Patients with stagnation of liver-QI account for 78.90%.The stagnation of liver-Qi with deficiency of the spleen are the majority of syndrome differentiation of TCM, which compatibility of Chaihu-Longgumuli Decoction plus sijuzi Decoction. Most stagnation of QI due to depress of the liver use Chaihu-Longgumuli Decoction. 3.Patients taking Bupleurum compounds most for 4years, during the period of observation, the application about maximum metering of Bupleurum is 1620 g, the minimum metering is 300 g. 4.The occurrence of slight adverse events is around 5,5%,There isn’t obvious change in patients’ hepatorenal function before and after treatment(P>0.05). Conclusion: 1.The dosage about clinical treatment of malignant tumor in application of Bupleurum is usually 6-15 g. 2.The clinical antitumor process which applied Bupleurum compounds almost choose patients whose PS is good, pattern of syndrome is dysfunction of QI, and liver QI stagnation. 3.There isn’t obvious toxic side effects if Bupleurum Compounds is used with reasonable dosage and the right combinations to treat malignant tumor.
