Efficacy Of Tonic Mixture Combined With Tizanidine Hydrochloride In The Treatment Of Spastic Hemiplegia After

Objective:this study is through clinical research to observe the clinical curatie effect of the treatment with Jiejing Mixture and Tizaniding Hydrochloride for the post-stroke spastic hemiplegia;To explore new methods of treatment for post-stroke spastic hemiplegia which is safe and effective.Methods:using radom number table,110cases of the patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke are randomly divided into group one、group two and group three. Three groups are administered with same basic western medicine and rehabilitation training treatment,while group one is treated with Jiejing Mixture orally、outside wash and Tizaniding Hydrochloride orally;group two is treated with Tizaniding Hydrochloride;group three is treated with Jiejing Mixture orally and outside wash. Jiejing Mixture composition and usage:shengbaishao20g, gancao10g,wangjiangnan20g, mugua15g, ruxiang6g, moyao6g,quanxie3g,danshen15g and so on.The use of traditional Chinese medicine are the standard decoction of200ml.Taking method:take orally one dose per day, morning and night;steep the Jiejing mixture in yellow ricewine (500mL;alcohol strength<13%v/v) for5days and afterwards prepare300mL (boiled by the pharmacy department in our hospital) of it for external use (embrocate it unto spastic muscles twice a day). Directions of Tizanidine Hydrochloride Tablets:2mg each time and3times a day,then add2mg per three days, until increased to2mg each time,3times a day for maintenance treatment. Researchers and rehabilitation therapists shall measure the value of Ashworth evaluation level of spasm、Barthel index and Fugl-Meyer assessment prior to the treatment and4weeks after the treatment, respectively. Researchers are responsible for ensuring the single-blind experiment by collecting, recording, preserving and analyzing the data.Results:1) after a period of treatment,the muscle tension、daily life ability and movement function of three groups’ patients all is statistically significant (P<0.05),compared with the same group before treament;2) based on variance analysis of the Barthel index of ADL,valuation of Ashworth level and the value of the Fugl-Meyer assessment, the difference between treatment group one and group two is statistically significant (P<0.05);the difference between treatment group one and treatment group three is statistically significant (P<0.05);the difference between treatment group two and treatment group three shows no statistical significance (P>0.05).Conclusions:in the treatment of spastic hemiplegia after stroke, the combination of Jiejing Mixture and Tizanidine Hydrochloride Tablets shows better clinical effects than using them alone.
