Objective:to explore the effect and mechanism of ShenQi Compound on diabetic vascular disease and memory of metabolic blocking, and provide a theoretical basis for TCM preventing and treating diabetic vascular disease medicine, by observing the effect of Yin Qi Compound on blood glucose, blood lipids, insulin, Serum3-NT, and Pathological aortic.Methods:2737-8week-old male pontaneous type2diabetes KKAy mice were randomly divided into six groups:control group (n=55), model group (n=64), SQC high-dose group (n=40), SQC middle dose group (n=42), SQC low dose group (n=36), metformin group (n=36). Feed the control group with normal diet, while feeding the model, SQC high-dose, middle dose, low-dose, and metformin groups with high fat diet daily for8weeks, resulting in diabetic vascular disease metabolic memory model. After that, the model group were given10ml/kg.d saline gavage, SQC high dose group were given28.8g/kg.d SQC extract gavage, SQC dose group were given14.4g/kg.d SQC extract gavage, SQC low dose group received7.2g/kg.d SQC extract gavage and metformin group were given0.167g/kg. d metformin gavage. During the experiment, observed the general conditions, water intake, food intake, body weight changes, and changes in fasting blood glucose monitoring of all the KKAy mice; respectively, in drug intervention of0week,3weeks,6weeks, and9weeks, randomly selected5KKAy mice of each group to exam the serum lipids, serum insulin (INS), blood oxLDL, Serum3-NT,8-iso-PGH2a and so on, and made HE staining morphology abdominal aorta to explain its biological significance.Results:SQC group general condition is much better than the model group, while the amount of water, blood glucose, blood lipids,3-NT, and vascular endothelial injury of the model group are all extremely decreased compared with the model group. The effect of SQC middle dose group is much better than the high and low dose groups,and is similar with western medicine.Conclusion:SQC can improve the general state of diabetic macrovascular KKAy mice, reduce the amount of drinking water, body weight,Serum3-NT and vascular endothelial injury, improve lipid metabolism, and delay the progression of diabetic atherosclerosis. The effect of SQC middle dose group is much better than the high and low dose groups,and is similar with western medicine. Its mechanism may be one of that of prevention of diabetic vascular disease.
