Objective:Construct the scale of the4to11years old children asthma family self-management evaluation index system which is sieved by the evaluation of Delphi to improve self-management level of the asthma family. To survey the influence of strengthened behaviors intervention on the compliance and symptom control of the asthmatic children and family by self-management intervening. Methods:Scale validation:Select the39items based on updated literature search and experts’ suggestion, and then a total of16experts participated in the two-round consultation by Delphi method. The questionnaire was consulted through Emails or letters. SPSS17.0was used for data analysis including percentages, averages, and standard deviations. Also the activity index, the specialist authority coefficient and the coordination coefficient of the experts was analyzed. Scale application:62out-patients with child asthma who were diagnosis firstly by the same doctor were randomly divided into2groups. The control group received conventional cure, health education, direction of the drug、asthma family self-management scale and childhood asthma control test(C-ACT), inform next time of office visiting. The experimental group received strengthened behaviors intervention on the basis of the control group, including appointing next time of office visiting, to give asthma diary and to peak expiratory flow meter and make a phone follow-up. Timely follow-up rate、the score of children asthma family self-management and C-ACT、PEF (peak expiratory flow)、the number of asthma attacks and emergency treatment were recorded. Results:The evaluation index system was constructed with3first-level indexes and39second-level indexes. The first-level indexes include management of daily life (12second-level indexes), disease management (18second-level indexes) and emotion management (9second-level indexes).100%of the issued questionnaires were successfully collected in the two-round consultation, the specialist authority coefficient was0.92, and the coordination coefficients for two-round consultation were between0.2and0.60(P<0.05). The timely follow-up rate(χ2=16.718, P<0.05)、the rise of the score of children asthma family self-management (t=8.215, P<0.05) and C-ACT (t=6.958, P<0.05)、the improvement of PEF (t=5.268,P<0.05) in the experimental group were obviously higher than those in control group. Otherwise, the experimental group of the number of asthma attacks (t=10.260, P<0.05) and emergency treatment (t=9.923, P<0.05) were obviously lower than the control group. Conclusion:The4to11years old children asthma family self-management evaluation index system designed with Delphi method was scientific and reliable, which was applied to the strengthened behaviors intervention. The strengthened behaviors intervention to the asthmatic children and family can improve compliance、the degree of self-management、 the state of health and reduce the number of asthma attacks and emergency treatment.
