Inshore salty soil is a special soil which has some bad engineering properties, such as collapse, dilatability and erosion and so on. Roadbed of highway has been one of geotechnical engineering problems, which restricts the development of highway in inshore salty area. Combining with the highway construction and management, the transport rule of salt of inshore roadbed is studied and the corresponding construction specifications and essential management games are brought forward in this paper, based on the analysis on laboratory tests. This paper commences from presenting the special characteristic distribution area, main classifying types and study status of saline soil and furthermore, the paper analyzes saline property from the aspects of salt heaving characteristic, dissolve falling characteristic and capillary water. This paper also brings out that internal causes, i.e. salt, water & soil, are the key factors and controllable and while external temperature causes, i.e. temperature & raining, are uncontrollable. In view of experience of history projects, this paper summarizes the ways of sub-grade treatment from the aspects of water partition, configuration reinforce and salt clear. On the basis of constructing bin-de expressway, the basic properties of littoral Saline soil are entirely and systematically researched. On the basis of introducing originating cause of littoral saline soil and its salt solid's characteristics, the survival circumstance for saline soil have been analyzed, as well as the transport rule of water and salt of littoral saline soil. Studied the separate capillarity' s layers produced by granular materials. studied the relation between moisture and salinity of salty soil and discussed an effective theory to manage the expansion of salty soil.
