Salty soil is very harmful for highway construction work also causes high economic loses. To prevent the adverse effect of salty soil on highway construction work, this paper experiment on water capillarity of salty soil, Checking capillarity action of river sand with different soil quantity, the paper studied on Xinjiang wind-blown sand, granular material's capillarity properties; studied the separate capillarity's layers produced by granular materials. The paper also experiments on salty soil with different proportion of sodium sulfate, sodium chloride, sodium carbonate and found the driest density and the best moisture content values, thus the author able to provide an effective method to control locale construction quality, studied the relation between moisture and salinity of salty soil and discussed an effective theory to manage the expansion of salty soil.
