With the rapid development of the foundation construction, the conflict between it and environment has emerged increasingly. The frequent exploitation of rock slope has disadvantaged soil conservation and ecosystem and environment, so it is hard and requisite to restore the vegetation cover,, Now owing to the mechanism of interaction effect between vegetation root and soil lack of comprehension, the theoretical comprehension of the effect has lagged behind the practical engineering results. Vegetation roots can increase the shear strength apparently and slope is reinforced with roots, but the research remain qualitative at present.The author attempt to analyze the principle of interaction effect quantitatively. The effects are divided into two species: friction and anchor types, The mechanism of interaction effect between soil and herb roots (include tree lateral roots)is analyzed, The frictional mechanics model is set up and the experiment accord with its calculation, The experiment justify prediction. The anchor mechanics effect between soil and tree roots is modeled. These provide theoretic signification and application value for more research and popularization.The vegetation roots effective control erosion and stabilization soil structure by mechanical effects between soil and roots. Besides vegetation act hydrological and hydraulic effects. But this technique has its shortage and disadvantage. Roots merely reinforce slope in the finite scope, Vegetation also accelerate groundwater circulation and increase soil infiltration and augment the scale and velocity of chemical water-rock interaction.Vegetation growth need appropriate soil circumstance and steadily vegetation community, so bioengineering must follow soil science and ecological law. Besides economical profits and landscaping are considered. After each effect gene is standardized, the paper apply analytic hierarchy process to calculate each effect gene score and selectthe most excellent vegetation.
