This paper takes the subgrade slope of "Tong Huang" highway. From the investigation and analysis of the vegetation growth status, soil pHysical and chemical properties, roadside field environment features and landscape of 14 test places chosen from 6 different types of ecological protection, the paper evaluates the ecology effect of ecological protection slope project via Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation.The main conclusions are:(1) The research of the slope vegetation of "Tong Huang"highway shows that the ecological protection slope has 9 kinds of compositae plants,5 kinds of leguminous plant,3 kinds of Gramineae plants,12 other branches. There are 22 types of herbaceous plants, accounting for 76% of the whole project plants, which is the main body of the slope vegetation. There are 5 kinds of bushes and 2 kinds of lianas, which account for 17% and 7% respectively of the plants. The vegetation cover rate of grass planting slope and general seeding sample land is higher, which is over 85%, while the rate of hole seeding plantsslope is less than 5%. The comparison result of the total biomass of 6 different ecological slopes is: nature slope>grass planting slope>spraying seeding planting slope>concrete skeleton slope> geogrid slope>hole seeding plants slope>spraying seeding plants slope.(2) The pHysics and chemistry nature analysis of ecological protection slope samples on "Tong Huang" highway gives some important information that vegetation protection slope and concrete skeleton slope have a high content of organic matters. Contrarily, arch skeleton structure slope, hole seeding plants and level trench have a low content of organic matters; Different types of opencast slopes have relatively minor differences, and their PH always in the range of between 7.6~8.6 and have alkaline soil; the soil of geocell and concrete skeleton slopes have the better corrosion resistance than of ordinary spray seeding and planting grass protection slopes, the corrosion resistance of the soil hole seeding plants and level trench opencast slopes is the worst.(3) From the investigation and analysis of the roadside field heat environment of the ecological protection slope sample on Tong Huang highway, the temperature of highway pavement is greater than of vegetation surface and of oil surface, there is an approximate 10℃gap between highway pavement temperature and vegetation surface or soil surface temperature. No evident difference exists in the temperature of edge slope sample underground underling surface compared to highway pavement.(4) After adopting questionnaire investigation of roadside field landscape based on "Tong Huang" highway, it is clear that ordinary spray seeding,concrete skeleton and landscaping of planting grass for slope protection have received admirable effects whilst high coverage rate of vegetation and integration of grass,shrub and bine can rapidly forms favorable landscaping. However, some unsatisfactory aspects cannot be ignored, such as the exposure of loess at level trench, hole seeding plants and arch skeleton structure slope, relatively poor growth situation of vegetation, low coverage rate of slope vegetation, obvious pHenomenon of alopecia areata and bad landscaping.(5) The conclusions of the evaluation for "Tong Huang" highway ecological protection slopes by applying multi-tiered, fuzzy, and comprehensive evaluation mode are as follows:Planting grass for slope protection and ecological effect of concrete skeleton slope have the greatest impacts, and followed by ecological effect of ordinary spray seeding and arch skeleton structure slope, the ecological of hole seeding plants and level trench is the worst.
