Advanced seal technology of gas turbine is a branch field to which was paid great attention over the world in recent decade years. The benefits of advanced seal technology have been truly reflected in aspects of increasing the performance of gas turbine,decreasing Specific Fuel Consumption(SFC) ,reducing the cost of running and maintaining etc. Honeycomb seal technology is currently a forward research direction of advanced seal technology. Through widely collecting and reading the information of this researching field, the article has suggested a seal structure composed by the Serrated and the Honeycomb Seal and taken this as the research object for the pneumatic calculation. In this paper, the results of research mainly include the following aspects:1. The thesis has designed a seire of seal structure composed by the Serrated and the Honeycomb Seal,and taken this as the research object of the research.2. According to configuration parameter and aerodynamic parameter of honeycomb seals,the flow characteristics were computed in the four different geometry seals and compared its leakage flow by using the three-dimensional computational model.The flow frame and heat transfer characteristics in the honyecomb seal were analyzed. The obtained results demonstrate that the honyecomb-serrate seal has the best sealed efficiency.In the meantime it explained that the sealed theory of honyecomb seal is:its special configuration lead to it has cut effect, vortex flows effect, backup effect, thermodynamics effect, adsorb effect, speed shrink effect and so on.In these ways,the leakage flow field of the honeycomb seal is divided into many small vortex flows,and the pressure is decrease due to its structure. The kinetic energy of the leakage flow can be transferred into heat energy efficiently. This leads to decrease the seal leakage flow rate of the honeycomb seal and therefore inprove the sealed efficiency.3. This thesis has analysed flow field inside the honeycomb seale in different rotating speed, pressure, honeycomb structure and serrated structure by using CFX software.So we can summaryed the variation of the internal flow field in the honeycomb seals . It has analysed the impact of major factors on the honeycomb seale and variation of leakage through the angle of the meso perspective about the fluid in the sealed chamber—the development of vortex and energy dissipation.4. Taken the honeycomb seal as the research object of the research,the thesis has given the similarity criterion through theoretical study and numerical simulation,which should be obey to meet the effects of the seals when similituding design. According to the similarity parameters and the similarity criterion,the thesis has analysed the flow frame and effects of the honeycomb seals when similituding design thereby validated the precision of design comparing new honeycomb seals.
