Analysis Of Wind Farm Site Selection And Long Term Development In Jilin Taonan City

Since the industrial revolution in 18th century, the need and dependence on energy has become worse day by day, as time goes by, the fossil fuel (oil; gas; coal etc.) has been depleting in contrast to the advancement of material civilization progress. Today the development and environment protection, energy consumption and environment protection, the demand and exploitation of renewable new energy have become a common problem of worldly concern.Wind power, as a form of renewable, abundant green power source, has received more and more attention among various countries, especially in the western developed countries-Europe and America. As an emerging developing country, a large country in its development stage, our country will inevitably be refrained and affected by energy in its industrial development and progress. Also the technical research and exploitation of renewable resources including wind power will directly influence the national energy structure adjustment, environment protection and economic sustainable development in our socialist modernization process. The reasonable and global programming of the wind power industry will have a long term and positive effect on china's wind power development.This paper starts with the introduction of recent wind power development abroad and analysis of the recent wind power development experiences of the major western developed countries. In consideration of our county's situation, the paper points out the problems existing in theory research, technical exploitation and wind farm programming. The paper gives project investment assessment and financial evaluation analysis for large-scale wind farm development. According to the wind power characteristics, wind turbine selection and its effects on electric power output, site lay-out plan, surrounding electric power load and power grid transmission factor of large-scale wind farms in Jilin province Taonan city. Finally the paper brings forward the conclusion of feasibility and counter-risk measures for wind farm projects.This paper aims to sum up the project management experience based on its research of long term programming and typical large scale wind farm selection in jilin Taonan area, thus offers reference and help for similar large or medium wind farm prophase site selection and long term development.
